Building a great travel blog is not something that is easy. You can spend hours and hours a day writing, editing and promoting your work without any reward at all. But if you look at the best travel blogs out there they all have something in common: honesty. When if comes down to it people don’t want to be reading run of the mill travel articles which explain how a place looks. They want to hear about how a place feels, what emotions it evokes, and they want to hear about the hardships endured in a given region. So when compiling a blog in the future, remember that it is not so much about the quality of writing, the strength of the adventure obtained, but about the honesty exuded in the words written and the stories of the adventure had. Have you ever considered exploring the vastness of the ocean? A trip out to explore one of the many shipwrecks that can be found out at sea is a great holiday experience that is both informative and uplifting. A number of tour operators offer excursions, which stop at a series of boats that met their match at sea and have been laid to rest at the ocean floor. The wrecks have become homes to a number of species and are slowly being embedded by coral, making them a remarkable sight to see. Late deals to snorkeling destinations are quite easy to find, especially around the Mediterranean.

Travelling should be fun, just being away from home can be an adventure and when you are setting out on your trip, or even just at the planning stage your expectations will usually be that you will enjoy an safe trip and return home fit and well, ready to take on the daily challenges that confront you. The last thing on your mind may be what if something goes wrong during my trip; I know this is our thoughts as we have enjoyed many fantastic trips, without serious misadventure. We do take time to prepare well, having seen the trouble that some people get into by rushing off overseas unprepared. During our trip to Europe last year we met friends who did both become sick and we found out later that they did not have medical insurance for their trip, a costly mistake. We have enough experience to know that our medical insurance does not extend outside Australia, so we take out a policy from MyCover Travel Insurance before leaving our home. MyCover was re-commenced by my friend who I know has travelled a lot and she has also needed cover for pre-existing medical conditions. We also have some minor medical problems so when taking out our policy with MyCover Travel Insurance we select the cover for Pre-Existing Medical Conditions, which in our case covers the conditions which are not in the standard policy.

Visiting the same tired amusement parks and vacation destinations can quickly lose it’s luster. Long lines, crowded parks and non-existent parking are all frustrations that can ruin a vacation. To avoid these distractions and inconveniences consider a more unique vacation.
For instance, visiting the many natural wonders of England offers a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation that won’t leave you pulling hair out. The High Force Waterfall in Teesdale, Cheddar Caves, the Natural Hotsprings in Bath, and the White Cliffs of Dover can all provide a unique and breathtaking vacation that provides memories worth keeping. Spend your days exploring and your nights soaking in the cozy hospitality of a bed and breakfast.
