Cheap Turkey Holidays: Get Involved with the Autumn Harvest

My sister and I were desperate to get away to Turkey this summer, but between us we couldn’t scrape together enough money for an indulgent seaside break.  We’d almost given up on the idea of having a holiday this year entirely, when one of her friends suggested a working break. One of the best ways to secure cheap Turkey holidays is to find work while you’re there, and Autumn is the perfect time for this because it’s when this fertile country harvests its many goodies. We’re going to help with the sesame harvest (to produce Turkey’s famous tahini paste) and also with a grape harvest for making wine. We can’t wait!

Explore Beauty And Nature By Backpacking Africa

One of the most diverse environments and exciting adventures is backpacking Africa. As the second largest continent in the world, Africa covers just over 6% of the planet’s surface and with a one billion human population, there is no shortage of things and people to see.

The way Africa is situated on the map, it covers several different climate zones and is surrounded by the Indian Ocean to the southeast and Atlantic Ocean to the west, followed by the Mediterranean Sea to the north. The different climates make backpacking Africa an adventure unto itself, let alone the natural beauty, native tribes and wildlife that make the continent so rich and diverse in culture. You will want to visit time and again to soak up the whole landscape and not just a small part of it.

There are a number of tour companies who lead backpacking Africa adventures, they vary in price depending upon the time of the year and the number of people in the group. This is an adventure that you will want to take plenty of time to explore which can be done for very little money each day, unlike the glamorous tours of Europe and Asia. While they are just as nice, you truly get the full effect by taking your time to soak up the surroundings. Africa experiences two rainy seasons per year, taking place in May and November and leave most of the territories in a puddle of mud. Beyond that, you are limited only by your budget and imagination.

For unforgettable experiences exploring different environments from tropical to arid desert, primitive to developed cultures and wildlife in it’s most natural untouched form, backpacking Africa packages are the way to go. With the exception of the two rainy seasons, tours are offered all year round. Clearing out your calendar so you can make the most of your trip to explore every nook and cranny will have you wanting to make this journey year after year. Africa is a big place with lots of unique experiences to partake, plan far enough in advance so you can enjoy it in all it’s splendor. Tours fill up fast so, book yours today.
