After a huge dinner out with some of the managers, I had tons of food leftover. I brought it back to the Portland Nordic Motel because I knew there was a fridge in the room. Thank goodness it was there. I was able to eat some of the dessert the next day and I had a delicious lunch of leftovers that afternoon. It would have been such a shame to see all of that food go to waste. It was from one of my favorite restaurants in town.

I really wish that my wife had not seen how much I spent on the racing pigeon lofts that I purchased recently. She was not happy. I tried to explain to her that you have to pay when someone understands the essential elements for a pigeon loft. These lofts have perfect air ventilation and flow and they get plenty of sunlight. You get what you pay for, so I had to get quality lofts for my pigeons. My wife needs to chill.

When you go to a new country you’re bound to try lots of lovely new foods and sadly trying to find similair once you get home isn’t always easy. Well, unless you take a cookery course whilst on holiday that is. There are several places that can be easily accessed from Costa Blanca hotels and you can choose whether you want to do a one day course which goes over the basics or return several times during the week for a more indepth look at Spanish cuisine. There is even a course in the resort of Ondara dedicated to Spanish vegetarian dishes.

So once the system has requested the three policy purchases and linked them together, we send the customer a standard travel insurance confirmation email which contains some ‘this includes gadget cover and CDW’ text and our admin guys if the customer calls in can see the policies all linked together. So straightforward in theory – just need to know now how Travel systems will handle this. The other approach would be for them to keep the existing list of all possible products and allow selection of more than one item, but as we’ve all highlighted, this is a dog’s dinner. Please let me know if this makes sense, or if indeed you don’t care so long as TravelTek get it and sort it!! And as soon as I hear from them I’ll walk them through the process and then hopefully get insurance sorted along with our Last Minute Holiday Deals.
