So once the system has requested the three policy purchases and linked them together, we send the customer a standard travel insurance confirmation email which contains some ‘this includes gadget cover and CDW’ text and our admin guys if the customer calls in can see the policies all linked together. So straightforward in theory – just need to know now how Travel systems will handle this. The other approach would be for them to keep the existing list of all possible products and allow selection of more than one item, but as we’ve all highlighted, this is a dog’s dinner. Please let me know if this makes sense, or if indeed you don’t care so long as TravelTek get it and sort it!! And as soon as I hear from them I’ll walk them through the process and then hopefully get insurance sorted along with our Last Minute Holiday Deals.
