The February Carnival that attracts both locals and foreigners alike. In August, the city plays host to the Holy Week of Semana Santa.
Spanish Premier League events can also be part of your diary. The local team, Malaga CF play their matches at the Malaga CF stadium during the soccer season. The bullfighting events are worth seeing in Malaga. The popular Plaza de Toros is usually busy during the season between March and October.
